The FL (flexible linkage) system in both the 3P and 5P versions have the same adjustment capabilities as the FLG (flexible linkage guard). The difference with the FL is that it does not have the additional protection guard plate because the new original underbody bash pates already have this protective function.

The adjustment can be made with the bike on the sidestand while on the trail. The only tool required is an open-end wrench.
